Noble County 4-H Camp 

     It is that time of year again to begin to think about 4-H camping adventures!  Noble County Junior 4-H Camp is just around the corner and the 2008 Camp Counselors have been in spring training!  If you were 9 to 14 and/or in the third through eighth grades as of January 1, 2008, and want to attend a very exciting 4-H Camp, then we have a camp for you!   This year's theme for camp is “Rockin’ and Rollin’ at 4-H Camp”

     Sports, dancing, swimming, games, campfires, trail hikes, cook-outs, sing-a-longs, and other special programs will help add to the fun and excitement at our 2008 4-H Camp!!

CAMP DATES:   June 24-27, 2008 (Camp will begin at 5:00 p.m. on the 24th and end @ 12:30 p.m. on the 27th)

CAMP COSTS:   $65.00 Includes: 12 meals, snacks, 3 nights lodging, program supplies and insurance (this

                                                            reduced rate is sponsored by the Noble County 4-H Council)

CABIN ASSIGNMENTS:

4-H campers will be assigned cabins before camp.  If you would like to stay with a friend or relative, you should mail your registration forms together and include the other person’s name on your reservation form.  We will try to honor your request if possible.  The earlier you return your registration form, the better your chance of being assigned to the same cabin as a friend.

NON 4-H MEMBERS:

Noble County 4-H Camp is open to non-4-H members too!  Do you have a friend that is not a 4-H member, but would like to attend camp with you?  Then invite that friend to camp!  The cost of a non-4-H member to attend camp is $75.00 and they must have been between the ages of 9 and 14 or in the third through eighth grades as of January 1, 2008.

CAMP PICTURE:

This year we are collecting the money for Camp Pictures with the registration forms.  Camp pictures are $7.00. Please add this amount to your registration fee.

RESERVATIONS:

The enclosed registration forms are due in the Noble County Extension Office on Friday, June 13, 2008.  They can be mailed or brought to the Noble County Extension Office along with your camp fees.  Space is limited to the first 120 4-H’ers, so you must act quickly!  Final camp details will be sent after we receive your reservations.
